Originally a 19th Century farmhouse, the main building has been developed so as to retain the original features of the Clive Bar alongside the more minimal approach in The Clive Restaurant areas.All 15 en-suite bedrooms are situated in period outbuildings which have been tastefully converted to provide contemporary style accommodation. A range of modern amenities are provided to further enhance your stay, including Free Wi-Fi, TV, radio, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities.The Clive Restaurant is renowned for superb modern British cuisine and has been awarded two AA rosettes as well as an entry in the Michelin Guide. Emphasis is on the use of fresh produce from Shropshire and surrounding areas, ranging from local meats, smoked products and vegetables to fresh Cornish fish. Almost everything served is made fresh in the restaurant kitchen, ensuring meals of the highest quality to please all tastes.The 'Clive Arms' Bar, with an adjoining courtyard, provides a comfortable area for aperitifs before dining in the Restaurant. Enjoy local traditional ales, a wide range of wines by the glass and light snacks from the bar menu. The bar separates into two sections; an 18th Century lounge area in traditional style, with log fire and a more contemporary upper area leads to the courtyard with tables and parasols for outside dining during the warmer months.
