Overlooking Cooper Creek and the lodge swimming pool, On The Turps offers modern Australian cuisine using local produce. Each cabin includes a TV, DVD player and fan. Table and chairs are provided on the private balconies for spotting birds, butterflies and musky rat kangaroos. Heritage Lodge is located only 9.3 mi north of the Daintree River Ferry Crossing. Port Douglas is a 1-hour drive away. A private airport transfer can be arranged for guests at an additional charge.
