Hollywood Beach Resort Cruise Port

The Hollywood Beach Resort Hotel is a beachfront historical hotel located at the southern end of Port Everglades Cruise Port in Ft. Lauderdale/ Hollywood Beach -- also referred as the “Grand Lady”, built in 1925 by the world renown Rubish and Hunter architects similar to the Mediterranean Revival Style popularized by Adison Mizner, the society architect of the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach and the famed Biltmore Hotel located in Miami, Florida. It sits right on Hollywood Beach, a family-friendly award-winning beach with the renovated Hollywood Broadwalk voted by Travel & Leisure as one of “America’s Best Beach Boardwalk.” The Broadwalk features more than two miles of auto-free walking, biking and rollerblading with a beautiful view of sparkling tropical water. Shops, cafes, and restaurants line the Broadwalk. Hollywood, Florida is a great destination for fun in the sun…for families, singles and couples, and groups.

The historic Hollywood Beach Resort Hotel is located 15 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport (FLL). Nestled midway between the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami Beaches, the Hollywood Beach Resort is a 15 minute drive to Port Everglades Cruise Port, and is only 30 minutes from the famous Art Deco District in Miami’s South Beach.  Shuttle service is available to both Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport (FLL) and to Port Everglades Cruise Port.

The Hollywood Beach Resort has completed the initial stage of its historic restoration project.  The project began in September 2008 and the $3 million phase has recently been completed.  This phase incorporated new hallways that include new doors, soffits, antique decorative lighting, paint, beautiful patterned carpets, and a historic photo gallery located on each floor.  The lobby also received antique tin ceiling tiles and 1920 circa furniture and decorative lighting.  Over 100 hotel rooms have been renovated with new granite kitchen countertops, new all wood kitchens, new porcelain tile flooring, new bedding and furniture, decorative crown molding and granite tops in the bathrooms.

There is a Resort Fee of $10.00 per day, that will be paid at the Hotel upon check-in. It will include: Unlimited access to the Fitness center, Newspaper - USA Today, Wireless Internet throughout the Hotel, Pool side and Fitness towels, Unlimited use of Chairs, Chaise lounges on Pool deck, In room safe, Cable TV, Local Calls, Incoming Fax service, Certificate for a Bahamas Cruise

For guests reserving two (2) nights or more, the Hollywood Beach Resort Cruise Port is offering complimentary scheduled shuttle service from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int. Airport to the Hollywood Beach Resort and from the Hollywood Beach Resort to the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int. Airport.  Guests staying less than two (2) nights will be subject to a service fee. 

Schedule as follows: Note that guest needs to call hotel upon arrival to airport for pick up and schedule with the hotel concierge for drop off.

AIRPORT SCHEDULE (7 days a week) FROM 7:00 am TO 11:00 pm (last schedule trip). Every hour on the hour

In addition: COMPLIMENTARY SCHEDULE TRANSPORTATION from the Hollywood Beach Resort to Port Everglades (DROP OFF ONLY).  Guest needs to register at Front Desk/concierge desk for schedule.  Any questions please contact us.

PORT EVERGLADES SCHEDULE (Saturday and Sunday): TRIP 1 12:00 pm, TRIP 2 1:30 pm

NOTE: During High Season additional trips to Port Everglades will be schedule based on the cruise ship departures.
