This stunning, 163 acre estate includes beautiful gardens, a 40-acre lake, and the fantastic Sky Garden crater. Fresh home cooking is provided, and guests can enjoy canoeing on the lake. Spacious and bright, each room in the historic country house offers scenic views of the surrounding parkland or gardens. Our 25 guest rooms all include en-suite and are located in the Manor, its adjacent Mews and the Lake House which is a short drive from our Manor House. Guest can relax with a flat-screen TV and free tea and coffee. Freshly cooked breakfasts are served each day, along with freshly baked bread. Guests can choose their meals based on what is fresh and seasonal that day. Please note that restaurant opening times are variable. The vast gardens of Liss Ard Estate stretch for many miles and include waterfalls and ponds. Guests can stroll along the many paths. Skibberreen is just a 2-minute drive from Liss Ard, while the N71 road is less than 10 minutes away by car.
These rooms sit opposite the main house in renovated 19th-century stable block. Most rooms on the ground floor have direct access to their own small garden area and rooms on the first floor have views overlooking the walled garden and parterre.
There is a double bed (some with king-size beds) and an en suite; some rooms have a freestanding bath tub and separate walk-in shower, while some have either a shower or bath tub. Bathrooms have sliding screens, influenced by Japanese design and décor. Rooms have a flat-screen TV and radio, and extra cots/beds are available on request.
Dogs can be accommodated in ground-floor rooms.
Some rooms can accommodate an additional single bed, or fold-away bed, upon request.
