About Saxon Lodge

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. The lodge features a splash pool and uninterrupted views of Gansbaai harbor, Walker Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Most of the rooms offer a sea view and a private veranda. All rooms have a private bathroom which has either a bath or shower and complimentary body care products. The Saxon Restaurant serves home-cooked meals made from fresh produce by arrangement only. Refreshments are served at the Saxon Arms pub including local wines from the surrounding Overberg region. Free Wi-Fi and private parking is available. Hermanus is a 40-minute drive from Saxon Lodge and the Cape Town International Airport is 91 mi north of Gansbaai.
