Less than 3 miles from the New Orleans French Quarter, this bed and breakfast showcases antique furnishings and collectibles from around the world. It has free Wi-Fi and rooms with a private bath. Featuring original décor and artwork, each guest room at Canal Street Inn is furnished with a cable TV and a telephone. Common areas at Inn Canal Street include parlors, a living room, dining room and a garden terrace with patio tables. A large sitting room, private bedroom, and a bathroom create the spacious and majestic King Suite. The suite is located on the second floor at the rear of the house and has many of the ornate architectural features that make this a grand house, including fourteen-foot ceilings, craftsman woodwork, mahogany fireplaces with ceramic tile, and hardwood floors. The main entrance to the suite is through the sitting room featuring four chairs, a mini-refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker. The master bedroom is located few steps down an interior hall, past the bathroom, and the large storage closet; it features a hardwood floor, a king-size bed, a dresser, and separate access to the large closet. Four windows provide abundant light to the bedroom, and one even looks over the back garden. Other amenities in the suite include a ceiling fan radio, TV. The spacious bathroom is bright yellow and has two stained-glass windows that let in lots of sunlight. It also has a walk-in shower and a built-in granite counter with a double sink.
