Only 8-minute by bus from Kyoto Station, Hostel HARUYA Aqua offers dorm beds and private rooms. The lounges, in adjacent 100 years old four Kyoto Townhouses in one specific area, are available. Rental bicycles are available, and free Wi-Fi is provided.
Guests at the Hostel HARUYA Aqua can relax at the shared lounge, and prepare free drinks at the shared kitchen. A fridge can be used, while a trouser press can be borrowed.
The hostel provides basic Western rooms with beds, or Japanese-style rooms with a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. Guests are advised to keep most of their luggage at reception, to have some space in the room. Bunk beds in shared dorm rooms are available for women only. Toilets and bathrooms are shared.
Hostel HARUYA Aqua is a 3-minute walk from the Nishi-Honganji Temple, and a 10-minute walk from To-ji Temple. Kinkaku-ji Golden Pavilion is one way access in a 30-minute bus ride.
