In the heart of the Cuauhtemoc neighborhood full of history and contrasts, an old acquaintance reinvents and transforms into a space that lives up to the true city of Mexico City neighborhoods, culture, design, art, memories and modernity.
Each element that makes up this new hotel is the result of a new history within the design in Mexico. A cluster of concepts, unique pieces and multisensory experiences, build each space Carlota as a result of the participation of a group of experts and creative Mexicans. Behind the concept is signing Ignacio Cadena, one of the most important designers of the current Mexico while the architectural proposal comes from the hand of the young and multi-awarded Javier Sanchez office. The furniture, which brings much unique personality of Charlotte, is the contribution to this original space of The Metropolitan, innovative entity focused on the analysis of design and architecture.
The hotel's design is the result of a project whose mission was not only renew but to achieve cohesion between past and present. Details and finishes specifically found in the whole structure of the site, preserving original features and general layout of the hotel where spaces such as the library and the shop / gallery seem to blur the barriers that divide, making Carlota one unique and special project.
The new luxury "Carlota" tells of a casual hotel that has been carefully planned and designed, from the honest selection of materials, unique objects and perfectly executed pieces of furniture in the rooms that fuse impeccable concrete and carpentry work
The hotel has 36 rooms, which are divided into 23 standard, 4 standard with terrace, 1 double, 4 suites, 2 suites with terrace and 2 master suites. Each room features unique pieces that represent the new face of Mexican art, where you can find works: The Original Contractors, Christian Camacho Reynoso, Tomas Diaz Cedeño, Luis Nava, Omar Barquet and Ricardo Rendón.
