The Hotel de Banville which has been entirely redecorated, today combines the charm of a ‘30s building with a decidedly top-class design, is just a 15-minute walk from the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe.
Built in 1927 in the purest art deco style by the architect Jérôme Bellat, it was acquired in 1967 by the family of Marianne Lambert, the present owner and director. Since then, three generations have succeeded each other, bringing with enthusiasm their love of the beautiful and the authentic and of welcoming people.
Each room is a unique picture, a distinctive décor, a galaxy of touches of colour, shapes, reliefs, refined and soft materials and also has a private bathroom. They are soundproof and equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. A yearning for the imaginative and the lovely, witnessing to Marianne Lambert’s inspiration, fills every room. Marianne Day (alias Marianne Lambert), who is also passionate about music and singing, organises evenings of Jazz and the great classics in the French repertory, accompanied by her pianist Franck Monbaylet.
A breakfast buffet with homemade pastries is served daily in the lobby area. Guests can also relax by the fireplace in the bar, which features live music once a month.
