Sitting in 120 hectares of Douro Valley vineyards, this traditional manor house has been converted into Portugal’s first wine hotel. At Quinta Nova Winery House – Relais & Châteaux, guests can get a real understanding of the spirit of the Douro Valley by observing wine making and farming activities, following the walkers’ trails and discovering the historic sites on the estate.
