Welcome to the University Inn - your new home away from home. Our hotel offers comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality with each and every stay. Located in Minnesota's Twin Cities and less than a 15-minute drive to Minneapolis - Saint Paul's International Airport, as well as sports stadiums, universities and major entertainment venues, our hotel is one of the best hotels in Minneapolis. University Inn is one of the only hotels with free parking, a 24-hour fitness center, long term stays, and studios with kitchenettes.

Our hotel was built in 1959 as the "Gopher Motor Inn". It was closed in 2000 and reopened by new owners in 2008 after a complete top-to-bottom remodel including all 45 guest rooms. Old-school brick & concrete construction makes our rooms very quiet!
