Some original elements remain, such as wide-plank floors and exposed brick, but the rooms in this all-suite hotel have every modern amenity. There are microwaves, fridges and coffeemakers in every room, and larger suites include full kitchens. All rooms have Southern Victorian decor, balconies and fireplaces. There are even sofa beds for a extra room. You can enjoy your choice of music or movies with the provided DVD player and stereo. Cookies and sherry are served at the afternoon reception, and the inn is conveniently adjacent to an acclaimed restaurant. Valet parking is available for a fee. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Charleston, less than 10 miles from Charleston International Airport. It's a five-minute walk to the popular Waterfront Park, where you can enjoy a stroll on the harbor and views of the USS Yorktown.
