About Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace and Nobu Hospitality have developed the world’s first Nobu Hotel, a boutique hotel with the larger destination resort.  The innovative concept will feature the largest Nobu restaurant and lounge and the first on the Strip.

In Nobu’s first hotel project, leading the way as the first celebrity-chef branded hotel venture, David Rockwell and his firm the Rockwell Group are leading the overall interior design for the hotel, including all rooms, suites and common areas, as well as the adjoining restaurant and lounge.  Incorporating his passion and decades-long history with the Nobu brand, Rockwell has created stylish interiors showcasing natural materials fused with Nobu’s signature Japanese elegance, designed to convey an extension of the fun and energetic Nobu lifestyle.

Raw, natural materials in neutral tones are juxtaposed with hints of terracotta orange, purple and aqua, and unexpected bold graphics representing traditional and contemporary Japanese forms.

Complementing the design’s organic and Japanese elements, furniture reflects the influence of George Nakashima and natural forms.

Lantern-like standing lamps and glass chandeliers provide luminous accents.

Japanese inspired decorative pillows in vibrant colors adorn couches.

Life-edge wood coffee tables and grass cloth wall coverings reinforce a textured, natural aesthetic.

A beige and brown toned patterned carpet resembles sand and gestural paintings.

All rooms have Japanese artwork incorporating traditional prints and expressionist graffiti-like forms selected by Chef Nobu.

Bathrooms feature teak fittings complemented by stone tile.

INTRODUCTION TO NOBU

It began with one man, a chef named Nobu Matsuhisa. Inspired by his love of food and flair, Chef Nobu explored the far reaches of the globe mastering culinary traditions from locations as varied as Japan and Peru, before settling in Beverly Hills, California. Here, he drew upon his classical training at sushi bars and his travel abroad to create a whole new trend in Japanese cuisine. His fusion of classic Asian fare with modern flavors made him an instant hit, attracting the attention of Los Angeles celebrities, including actor Robert De Niro.

It was with De Niro and others that Chef Nobu set out to create a completely different kind of restaurant—one that the world had never seen. Naturally, this restaurant would serve Nobu Matsuhisa’s famous dishes—but it would also feature a refined aesthetic and energetic atmosphere that would make it the playground for the world’s most illustrious VIPs.

Quite fittingly, they called this restaurant Nobu.

Today, Nobu isn’t just a collection of world-renowned restaurants, it’s a global lifestyle brand that embodies a powerful combination of upscale cuisine and laid-back luxury. There are some 25 Nobu restaurants in 15 countries, spanning across five continents and receiving over three million visits per year.

And now the world’s first Nobu Hotel has arrived at Caesars Palace, bringing together two iconic brands like never before. With a setting of stylish indulgence infused with traditional Japanese and modern styles, this boutique hotel redefines hospitality with the same artful elegance that Chef Nobu brings to his restaurants, attracting a whole new clientele to Caesars.

Las Vegas—and the whole world—will never be the same.
