About The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery

The OLD No.77 Hotel & Chandlery, located just blocks from the new Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the D-Day Museum, Louisiana Children's Museum and the world famous French Quarter, is a historic hotel that's part of New Orleans herself. Three 19th-century warehouses were renovated to create The OLD No.77 Hotel & Chandlery - a blend of the old and the new, convenience & comfort. The hotel's design has been noted for its adaptive reuse design and renovation.


The OLD No.77 Hotel & Chandlery offers thoroughly appointed guest rooms featuring the uniqueness, character, charm, and history of old New Orleans, with all of today's modern conveniences.
Many guest rooms offer a view of the Historic Arts District and downtown New Orleans. The OLD No.77 Hotel & Chandlery features open spaces, exposed brick, ceiling timbers and steel, which has been aesthetically retained and enhanced.

The OLD No.77 Hotel & Chandlery offers usage of the in-room safe with up to $20,000.00 safe insurance, unlimited local and domestic phone calls and 24 hour fitness center access. Breakfast is available for purchase at the Tout La lobby coffee bar.

Pet Policy:

Did you know the Old 77 Hotel is dog-friendly? As long as your furry BFF weighs under 60 pounds, bring them along. We just ask for a cleaning fee of $25, plus tax and assessments, with a maximum of two pets per room; oh, and please don't plan on leaving them alone in the room - they don't like that.

*All Special Event Policy: Reservations booked during Special Event dates require full payment of room and tax charged at the time of booking. NON-REFUNDABLE.*

Full stay's room and tax will be charged at time of booking.  All bookings become non-refundable at 30 days prior to arrival.  Any change or cancellation with less than 30 days prior to arrival will forfeit existing deposit.
