Allegroitalia Agritrulli Residence

Agritrulli Residences are located in the historic district of Trulli in Valle d'Itria in the territory of Ostuni. The "Trulli" for their uniqueness have been classified by UNESCO World Heritage Site as a manifesto of the "culture of stone" (since the year 1992). The Residences Agritrulli offer also some nice and characteristic "Casedde", small house enclosing all signs of rural culture. We organize unique events and courses as the grape harvest at night and the courses "tomato sauce” . The Trulli are unique and exclusive construction of this area of Puglia whose origins date back to the period between mid-1600 and the end of 1800 for reasons still partly mysterious. It is said that the Trulli have been "invented" to escape the heavy taxes of the Kingdom of Naples and Bourbon, but also that were built to liberate the surrounding land from the stones which provided an excellent building material. In both cases, historians have not yet understood why only in Itria Valley, in the center of Puglia, the Trulli have this feature and are still inhabited. The resort Residence Agritrulli has arisen for subsequent aggregation of several homes in the utmost respect for nature and history of the places and is made up of several typical houses and trulli, all in stone, completely renovated, for over 40 beds. Each house has an independent unit, each different in decor and space but all cozy and charming in their rustic and traditional furniture. They have living room with color TV, a kitchen or kitchenette with fridge, shower baths or bath. The Casedde have air conditioning while the Trulli have to feature the internal micro-climate (thanks to the realization only in dry stone walls and very broad and deep) that ensures fresh dry in summer and a Mediterranean warmth in winter. All houses have central heating and have large green spaces. The pine forest is ideal gem meditation and yoga. The Trulli, according to square footage, can accommodate from 2 to 8 people. The Casedde 2 to a maximum of 4 persons. The houses have their own kitchen or kitchenette and come complete with furniture and furnishings in "country style". The different houses are arranged about 100 meters from each other and ensure great privacy and relaxation. THE TRULLI The decor of the Trulli is rustic but at the same time unique and refined. All Trulli of the Agritrulli Residences have unique and different styles. THE CASEDDE The Casedde, surrounded by nature, ensure a relaxing stay. All are equipped with kitchen, heating and air conditioning.
