Boasting 6 different hot spring baths, Kurokawa-So is a traditional ryokan accommodations nestled in a tranquil valley along the river. It features some Japanese-style guest rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. The newly renewed bathing facilities on site provide staying guests with 8 different public baths including open-air baths and indoor public baths. The public baths for non-staying guests is separated from the baths for staying guests. A family bath is available for free as well. Guests can leave their luggage at the front desk after the check-out. In-room massages can be arranged at extra charge. A gift shop with original goods is on site. Spacious rooms at Kurokawa-So are fitted with a TV and a low table. Japanese-style rooms feature traditional futon bedding, while a Western room comes with beds. The property is a 90-minute drive from Kumamoto Airport, or a 50-minute drive from JR Aso Train Station. Kuju Flower Park is a 20-minute drive away. Free pick-up service from the nearest bus stop is available if requested at time of booking. Carefully prepared Japanese multi-course dinner can be enjoyed. Dinner will be served at dining room from Aug.
