This AAA 3-diamond hotel enjoys sweeping views of Frenchman Bay and is the perfect accommodation choice for a memorable vacation on Maine's famed Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park.

The original building on the site of the hotel was constructed in 1884 as the summer estate of Mrs. William Morris Hunt, an artist's widow. The stonework from this palatial so-called cottage, which she named Mizzentop, remains beneath the building that bears its name. The hotel was founded in 2009 and comprises a total of 98 rooms. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a bar and a restaurant. Business travellers will appreciate the conference facilities and guests can take advantage of the room and laundry services and parking.

The rooms at the hotel are classically decorated and guests can enjoy the pools and gym within the grounds.
