Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodations with a patio and lake views. Braxmere Lodge Tokaanu is a 10-minute drive from Trout Hatchery and Turangi. Mt Ruapehu-Whakapapa Ski Field is 35 minutes’ drive away. Each air-conditioned unit has a kitchenette with a microwave and stovetop. The seating area has a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and free toiletries. Guests receive free Wi-Fi, but need to be aware that due to our rural location, the internet & phone service can be patchy. Our jetty was badly damaged in cyclone Gabrielle, however, the boat ramp is still able to be used to launch your boats and the Lake is great for swimming and other water sports. There is a shared laundry room, with washing machine and dryer in a cabin between Units 6 & 7 1. There is a shared BBQ for guest use on the restaurant side of Unit 1 2. Please note that the accommodations is motel units NOT villas or luxury apartments
